STR Software Honored as a 2023 Recipient of the Top Virginia Employers for Interns Award

V-TOP’s announcement today marks the award program’s second year and coincides with Governor Glenn Youngkin’s proclamation recognizing Virginia Intern Day, aligning the state with National Intern Day.

V-TOP is administered by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) in partnership with the Virginia Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the Virginia Business Higher Education Council.

STR Software’s dedication to providing an enriching environment for interns aligns seamlessly with V-TOP’s mission of nurturing top talent in Virginia. The award is a testament to STR Software’s commitment to driving positive change through investing in the industry’s future leaders.

STR Software focuses its internship recruiting efforts on schools throughout Virginia and, due to the company’s software development objectives, maintains a strong relationship with Virginia Commonwealth University’s College of Engineering. Though the company began an emphasis on hiring summer interns in 2010, STR Software has hired 24 interns, with 14 later joining the organization full-time.
