New apps provide familiar Work Order and Work Request experience for Oracle eAM users

An extension of the AventX Product Suite, AventX Mobile is a solution for the Enterprise Asset Management (eAM) module of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) that allows maintenance teams to engage with work order packets and create work requests from a mobile device. In addition, AventX Mobile eliminates the tedious chore of manually transferring information from paper to Oracle.

STR Software received several inquiries for this functionality as mobile devices became more affordable and organizations look to incorporate mobile technology into their operational strategies.

AventX Mobile for eAM provides maintenance users with a familiar, intuitive interface that allows technicians to interact with work orders and their attachments from an iPad or iPhone in the same way they interact with the paper packets they use today. Technicians can add notes, photos, signatures, and more to the document before completing the job or routing it to the next resource. AventX captures and stores all the work order input – even offline – and syncs it with the push of a button. At the same time, AventX Mobile lets other team members like asset operators or maintenance supervisors create and monitor work requests as they identify a need, allowing for more efficient communication and maintenance planning.
