Pitt Plastics Chooses AventX to Automate Delivery of Seven Document Types from EBS

Pitt Plastics, Inc. (Pittsburg, KS) has manufactured high-quality trash can liners since 1972. With over 500 employees and half-a-million square feet of manufacturing and warehousing space, Pitt Plastics strives to keep facilities and offices lean and efficient. In that pursuit, Pitt Plastics sought a solution to automate the delivery of purchase orders from their hosted Oracle EBS instance using a hosted fax service. The AventX Oracle Connector in conjunction with Biscom’s FAXCOM Anywhere product proved to be the most robust and tightly integrated with Oracle among the competitors. What began with automated delivery of POs and invoices quickly spread to sales order acknowledgements, dunning letters, price lists and more as Pitt realized the value of automation. Pitt Plastics expects to see an ROI within the first year of use.
