MD Anderson Cancer Center Enhances Existing Fax Environment with AventX for PeopleSoft

With the recent implementation of Oracle’s PeopleSoft application, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center found they were unable to fax natively from their new ERP. The ideal document delivery solution would allow MD Anderson to leverage their existing fax system. With a FAXCOM legacy fax system in place, MD Anderson reached out to Biscom for help and in turn, Biscom directed MD Anderson to partner, STR Software, for the solution to their faxing predicament.

MD Anderson discovered STR Software’s AventX UNIX for PeopleSoft could automate fax delivery of any business document printed and the AventX WebManager could enable desktop document delivery via web browser.  With the endorsement of Henry Ford Health System and Shands HealthCare, MD Anderson Cancer Center was sold on STR Software and AventX UNIX. They had the solution required and were able to utilize their existing fax system. The AventX Product Suite integrates with host ERP applications including ONESolution, BusinessPLUS, Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, and SAP in UNIX, Linux, MPE and Windows environments.
